Technology at Chattanooga Dental Studio

Advanced Dental Technology That Makes Your Care Faster, Gentler, And More Precise

Advanced technology helps us provide personalized care while keeping your experience comfortable. We use digital tools as needed to understand your oral health and guide treatment, with welcoming amenities that help you feel supported throughout your visit.

Every tool in our Chattanooga office was chosen with your comfort and your results in mind. From 3D imaging that captures your teeth, roots, airways, and sinuses in under ten seconds, to a laser that can treat a cavity without a shot, our technology removes guesswork and shortens your time in the chair.

Drs. Chris and Amber Robertson have invested in advanced technology that few general practices in the greater Chattanooga area offer. Whether you need a single filling or a full mouth restoration, the equipment behind your treatment shapes how your results look, feel, and last.

Cone Beam 3D Imaging

Our Cone Beam 3D scanner captures your teeth, roots, airways, and sinuses in less than ten seconds. You get answers during the same appointment instead of waiting on a second visit. This detailed view helps us plan implants, monitor jaw joint problems, and catch issues a standard x-ray cannot show.

Low Radiation Digital X-Rays

Our digital x-rays use about 90 percent less radiation than traditional film, and your images appear on screen immediately. You and your dentist look at the same picture together. Early cavities, bone changes, and problems hiding below the gumline show up long before you would ever feel them.

Intraoral Cameras

A small handheld camera shows you the inside of your mouth on screen in real time. Seeing a cracked filling or inflamed gum tissue for yourself makes our recommendation much easier to understand. We also use before and after images to track whether a treatment is working the way it should.

High-Powered Telescopic Loupes

Our doctors and hygienists wear magnifying loupes for every procedure. The added magnification lets us spot hairline cracks, early decay, and tissue changes that are invisible to the naked eye. Finding those details early usually means a smaller, simpler, and less expensive treatment for you.

Fotona Dual-Wavelength Laser

The Fotona laser uses two wavelengths, Er:YAG and Nd:YAG, so it treats both soft tissue and hard tissue. Dr. Amber Robertson uses it for gum therapy, tongue-tie release, cavity removal, and facial treatments such as SmoothLase and LipLase, typically with no scalpels, no sutures, and no extended downtime.

Diode Dental Laser

Our diode laser handles many soft tissue treatments without numbing. We use it to correct gummy smiles, release lip and tongue ties, and help canker sores heal faster. Because the laser seals tissue as it works, you can expect less bleeding, fewer stitches, and a quicker recovery.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

CEREC technology lets us design, mill, and place your crown in one appointment. No temporary crown, no second visit, no waiting on an outside lab. Your restoration is milled from a solid ceramic block right here in our Chattanooga office and shaded to match the teeth around it.

Digital Impressions and Computer-Aided Design

Digital scanning replaces the trays of impression material most people remember. We capture a precise 3D model of your teeth and gums in minutes, which is more comfortable for you and more accurate for the restoration that follows. Better data at the start means a better fit at the finish.

Bioclear Matrix System

Bioclear closes gaps and dark triangles between your front teeth using warmed composite and a curved matrix instead of drilling for veneers. Your natural tooth structure stays intact, most cases need no numbing, and you leave with teeth that look fuller and better proportioned the same day.

Professional In-Office Whitening

Our in-office whitening system lightens your teeth up to eight shades in a single visit. There are no take-home trays to wear for weeks and no messy gel to manage at home. You relax in our chair for one appointment and leave with results that months of drugstore strips rarely match.

Tooth-Colored, BPA-Free Restorations

We place natural-looking composite restorations instead of dark metal fillings, and we select biocompatible materials that are free of BPA. Your fillings blend with your enamel, bond directly to the tooth, and reflect our commitment to keeping what goes into your mouth as safe as it can be.

The Wand Computer-Controlled Anesthesia

The Wand delivers anesthetic at a slow, steady, computer-controlled rate rather than a hand-pushed syringe. That pacing is what makes the difference, since most of the sting people associate with dental injections comes from pressure. If needles are the part you dread, tell us before we begin.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, takes effect within moments and wears off just as quickly. You stay awake and aware, simply more relaxed. We adjust the level throughout your appointment, and most patients drive themselves home afterward with no lingering grogginess.

Comfort Amenities

Technology only goes so far without comfort. Warm lavender towels, eye covers, neck pillows, noise-canceling headphones, and flat screen TVs are available at every visit, along with complimentary beverages in our waiting area. Small touches change how a dental appointment feels, especially if past visits made you anxious.
